One of my first posts was related to a snow day. Here we are in April with another snowday. Schools were closed today due to the 12-24 inches of snow we received over the weekend. Our neighbor to the east, Cass Lake, was the top spot with 27 inches of snow.

The snow plow went by on the main road so I just got back in from shoveling a path through the end of our road so we can get out. I think I worked about 10 minutes and felt like I just ran a mile. That snow is heavy!

I’m planning to go to my parent’s house for lunch. Hopefully I can get down their road. I know it won’t be plowed yet. We’ll have to pack up the boots and gloves just in case we get stuck somewhere. Oh, yeah-a shovel too.
